Malbec Contest: Wine-growers rewarded for their efforts!

Le Concours Des Vins (C.D.V) - the organiser of the Malbec International Competition - wanted to reward wine-growers for their efforts to produce wines mainly from the Malbec vine (minimum content of 75%); a vine also known as Cot Noir. This Endeavour proved to be a great success, with 132 samples from eight countries, representative of all five continents, being entered into the competition, held for the first time in 2009.
