2011, May. 27th: 2nd Malbec International Competition!

Troughout this competition, your wines can compete with Malbec samples from all over the world!
This competition was launched with the sole aim of highlighting this vine. It provides you with an opportunity to express your know-how and demonstrate the quality of your product, and is aimed at broadening the knowledge and experience of the consumers.
After the colourful history which Malbec has known over the centuries, the time has come to give this vine the honour it deserves. Dating back to the time of Eleanor of Aquitaine in the 12th century, it was at its height around the eighteenth century, and even reached Argentina before disappearing from France following the ravages of phylloxera. It has been revived and developed since the beginning of the twentieth century thanks to the tenacity of growers mainly of the Gironde and Cahors regions. It is now particularly developed in South America, in Argentina (Mendoza province) and in Chile. Other regions where it can be found include South Africa and Australia.

The association “Concours Des Vins” will use the expertise it has acquired during more than thirty years to ensure that your wines are tasted by well-known specialists. Each prize-winner will be accompanied during the different stages of participation.

C.D.V wants to be at your side all the way in order to

help you increase your standing and success among consumers, buyers, and resellers!
